The Convenience of Burning Pellet Fuel

BY James Wang

The prices of gas and oil in the international markets are unstable. The many events taking place in the world including price creates of the oil producing countries have caused serious fluctuations of the prices of oil and gas in the international markets. The good news is that you can you can shield yourself from the extremities of price fluctuations and other disadvantages that are associated with the use of fossil fuels if you use pellet fuel.  You do not have to acquire an expensive pellet mill to take advantage of the wood pellet technology. You can acquire a medium sized affordable pellet making machine or pelletizer for that purpose. The raw materials for the production of pellet fuel include cotton seed hull, corn cob, rice husk, carmelia shell, etc.

There are many advantages of pellet fuel some of which include that the feel is very pure. Another important point to note is that pellet fuel does not contain the other sundries that do not produce heat. Biomass pellet has carbon content ranging between 75% and 85%. The content of ash ranges from 3% to 6% while the content of moisture ranges between 1% and 3%. It does not contain stone, coal gangue, and any other impurities which produce heat.

Another advantage of pellet fuel is that it has no sulfur phosphorous and will therefore not corrode the boiler. Because of this reason, it can prolong the boiler’s service life. The pellet fuel is very clean and its type of feeding is highly convenient. It can reduce the intensity of labor and significantly improve the environment of working. After burning, biomass pellet fuel levels very few residues of ash. This presents yet another added advantage because it leads to the reduction of cost and space.
