NPM Expands Market In Southeast Asia

BY James Wang

In recent years, the influence of pellet fuel has been greatly expanded all around the world.  European market is all ready in the lead for they have developed maturely since 1980s. But also there are still other new markets which are also in the burgeoning period. Southeast Asia is also one of them.

Nanjing Pellet Mill Co., Ltd has completed a large-scale pellet plant project(5 ton/hour) with the customer from Vietnam in 2012. When coming into the new year of 2013, NPM are still busy negotiating with customers from South Asia regions, such as Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand.

The reasons that there are great potential lies in the Southeast Asia are based on the following two facts.

Plentiful raw material
Due to the rich rain and high temperature, the Southeast Asia regions are suitable to grow the crops such as rice, coconut, rubber, abaca and so on. More over, the forest resource are also rich there. The crops byproducts such as rice husk and coconut shell, as well as the forest waste are the good raw material for biomass pellet production.

No import tariff
Most of the countries in the Southeast Asia are charging for no import tariff for the businessmen, which will somehow stimulate people in the Southeast Asia to buy the pellet mill machines from Nanjing Pellet Mill Co., Ltd which locates in China. Moreover, China has built up close relationship with ASEAN(Association of Southeast Asian Nations) on the field of free trade, which will surely bring great convenience for people in the Southeast Asia to make further pellet fuel investment with Nanjing Pellet Mill Co., Ltd.

Since the market is not mature enough in the Southeast Asia Market, there are still many details to negotiate and the period will be much longer, yet NPM still have strong beliefs to overcome the difficulty with the customers step by step, helping them to fulfill the pellet fuel making dream in Southeast Asian.
